Get a free 10-day email course teaching you how to build an effective online presence, start networking, and make yourself stand out from the crowd

You don't have to kill your soul endlessly sending generic applications or spend hundreds of hours on job boards to land a job

Hey there! 👋🏻 My name is Ken.

Back in 2014, I got my first job as a developer with no degree, no bootcamp, no connections in the industry, and no relevant experience.

I bootstrapped my way to my first job by doing three things:

  • Building a strong portfolio of custom projects
  • Growing an impressive online presence
  • Intelligently networking and reaching out to potential employers

For some reason, the ridiculously inefficient process of sending out hundreds of applications into the void in the hopes of getting 1 or 2 responses is considered normal.

This is not normal, and not a good way to go about getting a job, especially not your first one.

My name is Ken. I'm a community-taught developer who works full-time for a software development agency. I've been a developer for over 7 years and absolutely love my job.

I also have a passion for teaching aspiring developers how to land their first jobs.

I see how much bad advice is out there, how discouraged people are, and I know how much of a difference doing things a little differently can make.

So I distilled everything I know and everything I teach inside my main course and community, Lever, and condensed it down into the essentials in this 10-day email course.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

  • Why you should avoid traditional application/resume submissions like your career depends on it (because it does)
  • How to create a strong online presence so your work stands out among everyone else
  • The best kinds of projects to build to impress employers (and the kind to avoid like the plague)
  • A simple method for natural, effective, non-sleazy networking
  • My favorite tactic for impressing any employer and instantly standing out among every else (seriously NOBODY is doing this and it's ridiculously powerful)

I'm a big believer in small behavioral changes implemented consistently, so every email comes with a simple action step for you to complete that day and to add to your daily schedule.

These small, consistent habits are what will enable you to launch and grow a successful career.

Sign up right here to start the course, you'll get the first lesson in just a few minutes.
